Bizzy Bone Going To Celebrity Rehab (News)

EPRESENTING: CLEVELAND

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony group member Bizzy Bone has joined the cast of Dr. Drew’s VH1 reality show, Celebrity Rehab.

According to TMZ.com, Bizzy will appear on the show to battle his longtime addictions to alcohol and marijuana.

The rapper, born Byron McCane, will join a cast that so features former Laguna Beach star Jason Wahler and Tila Tequila, who will be treated for an addiction to prescription pills.

According to reports, the show may not make it to television, because of a lack of participation from celebrities for this season.

In September of 2003, Bizzy Bone was kicked out of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony after missing a string of appearances due to his addiction to drugs and alcohol.

“When they put me out of the group, not only did they put me out, they said I was unreasonable, I couldn't be worked with, I was an alcoholic and a drug addict,” Bizzy Bone told AllHipHop.com in 2004. “So therefore I couldn't do any business with anyone else, and everybody was scared to do business with me.”

No air date was available for Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

TP Answers Questions About New Album (Interview)

REPRESENTING: ALLENDALE

TP speaks on the new album

A couple days ago I came through TP's studio to chill out and listen to the new album (which is still in progress). After listening to it, we discussed it and I want to share some of my thoughts on it.

One thing I noticed right away was the growth in the music. I have heard Connect and Synergy and both are good albums. For this album you need to listen a little deeper.  Club joints are still there, but as you grow as a person your music should grow with you.  Sometimes I think that is a hard task for artists to understand and incorporate.  TP does a good job of allowing his growth to show on the album, but also keeps it balanced with the TP & Esco sound we are used to.  The work that has been put in behind the scenes is sure to show with the final product. There are meticulous notes that TP references to every track. Each is laid out with notations of what still needs to be done and changes that need to be made both lyrically and in regards to sound engineering.  When you have that type of attention to detail and precision, in any career, you will be successful.

The Gospel of Hip Hop: First Instrument, the first book from the I Am Hip Hop imprint launched in the fall of 2009, is the philosophical masterwork of KRS ONE. Set in the format of a self-help holy book, this 800-plus-page opus is a spiritual manual for citizens of Hip Hop Kulture that combines classic philosophy with faith and practical knowledge, for a fascinating, in-depth exploration of Hip Hop as a life path. Known as "the Teacha," KRS ONE developed his unique outlook as a homeless teen in Brooklyn, New York, engaging his philosophy of self-creation to become one of the most respected emcees in Hip Hop history. As Hip Hop's true steward, KRS ONE painstakingly details the development of the culture and the ways in which we, as "Hiphoppas," can and should preserve its future.

The Teacha-KRS-ONE, named Minister Server as one of his spiritual advisors and appointed him as Minister and National Organizer with the Temple of Hiphop. Minister Server toured throughout the country several times with KRS-One and the Temple of Hiphop lecturing, Emceein, Deejayin, organizing and counseling diverse audiences from the clubs to the colleges inspiring people from Coast to Coast to fulfill their divine purpose!

In 2004, Minister Server displayed his spiritual, poetic and lyrical skills to the world when he rocked on five songs on the "classic" KRS-ONE "Keep Right" CD. Known for giving positive, inspirational and practical spiritual advice for a variety of Hip Hop artists, individuals and organizations, Minister Server is truly earning the respect of the international Hip Hop Nation as the "Minister of Hip Hop culture"!

KRS-One states, "I searched for 10 years trying to find someone that could assist me in continuing the work of the spiritual development of the Hip Hop Nation; Minister Server is like our Melchiezedek!"

In 2005, Minister SERVER returned to Atlanta, GA to continue his mission and was inspired to become the Founder and Spiritual Director of HIPHOP Ministries, Inc., a multi-faith, multi-cultural, multi-racial ministry that teaches the ancient metaphysical Truth principles of Jesus the Christ, the Holy Bible and other ancient wisdom as a methods to enlighten, inspire and empower people to live their divine purpose through Hip Hop culture!
The Hip Hop community is anticipating the release of his first published book "Food For The Spirit: Life, Lessons & Suggestions", which details practical metaphysical lessons, personal testimonies and suggestions for Hip Hop self-empowerment.

David "Minister Server" Tavares-The Hip Hop Life Coach, has been called, "a dynamic Hip Hop Leader with the spiritual conviction of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., the motivational skills of Les Brown and the coaching style of Phil Jackson!" A true Hiphoppa, he has spent over 25 years dedicated to the development, growth and preservation of Hiphop culture.
